Haasbeek Bookstore

Alphen aan den Rijn (NL)

2014 – complete

#interiorarchitecture #lightingplan #hospitality
Bookstores these days are not just shops, but also cafés and study areas. This also applies to a bookstore in Alphen aan den Rijn, which was designed as a study environment with the aim of making the “book” more attractive to its readers. All elements, such as the staircase and book shelves, were developed from A to Z, from concept design to construction drawings. The whole project is completed with the lighting design differing between the different sectors. Decorative and general lighting are combined to provide a different reading experience.
